Hi,

Is there any way to with via key combination or some other way that when I use the sudo command to gain escalated privileges that 1Password inserts the password for me? Ideally I would like to get this working with putty or secureCRT. If there are any other tools that support it I am open to them as well.

Some terminal programs (e.g. iTerm2 on macOS) include plugins to support this. At least they do on macOS. But after trying it out, I've disabled it because I don't like how it behaves when I'm logged into a remote host. For example, the plugin is unable to tell when I'm using sudo locally vs when logged into a remote host which would need a different password.

I prefer to use the 1Password Quick Access and keyboard shortcut to copy the password and then paste it. It's not automatic or as slick as the plugins, but it's the only way I can be sure the correct password is always used.
