How to edit form details in 1Password 8?

It seems like 1Password used to have an ability to set form details, e.g. checking a "keep me signed in" checkbox. I can't find it anywhere in version 8, both on Linux and MacOS.

If it actually is gone, my feature request would be have an button in the menu to teach it new saved form details, all it would do is offer the Update Existing card for your next login. So you'd hit the save new form details button, then go login to the website manually, and check the Remember Me checkbox. Then the 1Password extension would prompt you with the Update Existing card, which implicitly saves the form details.

1Password Version: >8.0.0
Extension Version: >8.0.0
OS Version: All
Browser: All

    Hello @rhinoceraptor! 👋

Thanks for the question! There isn't a way to edit "web form details" since that's usually information that helps 1Password to detect and fill fields on a page.

However, you can choose whether 1Password checks a "Keep me signed in" checkbox by following these steps:

    1. Navigate to a website's login page.
    2. Check the "Keep me signed in" box.
    3. Manually type in your username and password but do not sign in yet.
    4. Right-click on the 1Password icon in your browser's toolbar and click Save > Login.
    5. Follow the prompts to save a new login, don't update the existing one.

Sign in using the new login, 1Password should check the "Keep me signed in" option on the page. Let me know if that helps. 🙂
