"Show 1PW" keyboard shortcut needs 2x Authentication

Every time I use the

Show 1PW

keyboard shortcut to autofill user credentials in macOS, 1password asks for authentication twice (Touch ID in this case).

It seems like unlocks the main window, but then still asks for authentication to unlock quick access.

I remember a time when I could just authenticate once and both were unlocked, unless I am mistaken.

Does not affect browser extensions.

  • Hello @MisterDynamic! 👋

I'm sorry that you're seeing multiple prompts to unlock 1Password. Can you update to 8.10.46 to see if you still see the issue there: How to keep 1Password up to date

If you do still see the issue with 8.10.46 then can you tell me the following:

    1. What specific keyboard shortcut are you using?
    2. If you right-click on the 1Password icon in the menu bar, click Open Quick Access, unlock 1Password, select your login, and then press Shift-Enter do you see the same issue?

I look forward to hearing from you.
