Two people. Use FAMILY or Single Accounts?
Hello. Newbie here; also a senior who USED to be good learning/organizing software.
Free trial is about to expire and my husband has always relied on me for all things technical at home. From setting up TiVo / VCRs / Computers / Home Voicemail ... etc. Now we are many years older and I'm having challenges absorbing 1Password. It should not be this difficult and about 10 yrs ago, it might not have been. sigh
Those of you with two at home in family, would you use single accounts or a Family? I am also considering adding my sister.
Thanks for the help.

We have three in the family (two plus adult daughter), but I would absolutely create a family account. In this way you can easily share accounts and other information by creating shared vault. E.g. create an Emergency vault, and place your phone codes and email account/password info in it to share with your sister (and vice versa) in case something severe happens. You could even add documents to this Emergency vault, such as health care directives and wills. Create a Household account to hold shared items like Netflix credentials, electricity/gas/water account logins, car insurance login and certificates, etc. Use your individual private accounts for social media accounts, accounts like Skype/Zoom/WhatsApp, or your banking info if you hold individual accounts.
Think of 1Password as your home safe and safety deposit box combined for all things digital, but one that is always immediately accessible.

Great post @garyhooper
A family account would also be my recommendation. Please let us know if you have any questions @DogsRKids

Thank you both for the information and suggestions. We went out of town the next day so that's why I didn't respond until now. I hadn't decided what to do so I quickly purchased the Family Plan for a Month. Honestly, the application still confuses me to bits and I am quite frustrated in myself that I haven't caught on yet.
For now, I'm happy to have the browser extension and android app both working. Would I like to organize everything into "buckets" that make sense? Definitely. I really need tutorials with visual aides. lol Good screen shots that make sense. My husband is still leaving all of this up to me, which I sort of expected.
