Feature Request: Dark iOS 18 Icon
Hi everyone,
I’d like to suggest adding a dark mode-specific app icon for iOS 18. This would make the app look sleeker, especially in dark mode, with a subtle gradient to add some depth (charcoal, graphite, or dark blue tones).
I’ve attached a screenshot to show what the dark icon could look like compared to the current iOS icon. Dark icon is already set in the settings as well and it doesn't look great at the moment.
You can also find Apple’s design guidelines here:
Best,

I think it needs transparency to allow for automatic dark mode but I’m not 100%. I agree that currently it sticks out like a sore thumb when in dark mode so would be great to see it updated!

Hi @Dave_1P, thanks for keeping us updated! I’ve already enrolled in TestFlight and am using the 8.10.50 build

. However, I can’t seem to find the new dark icon anywhere. Is it supposed to be included in the build, or will it be released on TestFlight for future testing? Thanks!0 -
I'm sorry for the late reply. When using 1Password for iOS 8.10.50, I see the tinted icon when adding a colour tint to my app icons on iOS:
And I see the dark mode icon when using dark mode:
If you're still seeing the issue then can you post a screenshot of what you see? And are you using tinted icons or dark mode?
