Stop “This item may belong in your other account” banners

I have 3 1Password accounts, 1 personal and 2 separate team accounts. My personal account is my oldest account with most of my passwords (over 750 items). I have Watchtower alerts for over 300 items, saying they are in the wrong account. I have painstakingly clicked “Ignore” on each banner in the past, but I do not want to do this for over 300 passwords still left. It is not a good use of my time. Additionally, I do not like when I do click it, it updates that item. I have my items sorted by Date Modified, so it brings them to the top when I would rather see the latest passwords I have added or updated.

Despite looking for a setting to turn this off, I am not finding one. I have my personal vault set as my default vault, but that hasn’t fixed this problem. My personal passwords definitely do not belong in my work accounts. Is this purely based on the fact that my 1Password account uses my email address with my own domain whereas the majority of my accounts saved in 1Password include my Hotmail address?

I did find this other community post, which suggests that there is no way to turn this off. I would really like a solution for this problem, whether it includes being able to add additional email addresses it can check against, being able to select in bulk to ignore, or being able to disable it. If it weren’t doing this to so many accounts, I wouldn’t mind, and it could be a useful feature if I accidentally added a work password to my personal account, for example, but that just isn’t my case.

    I've filed a feature request with the products team for a way to disable this messaging. I can't guarantee a specific outcome. However, I can ensure the team knows this would be an important addition for you.

    Use Watchtower to find account details you need to change

    Items in another account are logins containing an email address that’s associated with a different 1Password account than where the item is saved.
