A while ago 1Password finally and fortunately brought the functionality back to suppress autofill of certain login items on certain URLs (never fill out on this website). Unfortunately that doesn't apply to the passkeys.

I still get the message to fill a passkey on sites where I don't want it, e.g. because it's a login I seldomly use or it's a site where I usually use a hardware key and only have the passkey in 1PW as a fallback.

Feature request: Enable/disable passkey "autofill" (meaning the pop up request) per login item.

  • Hello, @Thomas. Thank you for reaching out.

While I can't make any promises, I've shared your feedback with our product team for further consideration. In the meantime, I recommend pressing the ESC key on your keyboard to quickly dismiss the passkey pop-up so it can revert to a hardware key instead.

Let me know if there's anything else I can assist you with.
