The Notes field has lost ability to display line feed and return
I am on the most recent beta, and the problem is new (may be since one or two Beta's).
I do not use Markdown, only line feeds and returns in the Notes texts.
Before the problem was introduced, the display of a given Note was quite similar to what was visible after edit.
Now, the line feeds (or line breaks) and the returns are removed (or not respected) when switching from edit mode to display mode.
The line feeds are not removed, because the note text looks as it should when one activates Edit again.

Just upgraded to 1Password for Windows 8.10.50-13. Plain text Notes stored in 1Password are not formatted correctly (missing carriage returns) and I am unable to highlight or copy text from my notes unless I view them from the 1Password editor.

I discovered I have to enable "Format secure notes using Markdown" in Settings > General to go back to the normal behavior, even though I'm not using Markdown. This is a workaround, not a fix. Something is still broken.

Thank you for helping us to test the beta version of 1Password! I've been able to reproduce the issue using my own device when markdown formatting is turned off and I've filed an internal work item with our development team so that they can get this fixed.
For the time being, turning on markdown formatting (as jguillet mentioned) is the best workaround:
- Open and unlock the 1Password app.
- Click your account or collection at the top of the sidebar and click Settings.
- Turn on "Format secure notes using Markdown".

This is a really serious problem and I can't believe it went into production in 8.10.50 after having been reported in the beta. I don't use Markdown -- and I store all kinds of stuff in notes (e.g. things that have asterisks) that get misinterpreted as Markdown if it's enabled. I can't trust what I'm looking at in notes to be accurate if Markdown is enabled. I see that the issue is still present in the 8.10.52 beta, too. Please make this a top priority fix!
Is there a link anywhere to 8.10.48 for the time being?

I'm sorry for the disruption to your workflow, our developers are working on a fix. I don't recommend using an older version of the desktop app. If you have items that don't play well with markdown then, for now, you can instead use the 1Password.com web app to view those items. The web app doesn't currently support markdown formatting and is not affected by the issue. You can access the web app by logging in to your 1Password account on 1Password.com (in the browser, not the app).
I hope that helps.

Thanks for your reponse. That would have been a pretty suboptimal workaround, but I'm pleased to see that Nightly Build 8.10.54 appears to have fixed the issue. Phew, it was really a big headache.
