Converting Logins to other things

When I had originally setup local server info in a different password manager it saved them as "logins" and through the different export/import phases they remained there including into 1Password. I'd like to move (reclassify) some of them to "server" item or something else. Is there a way to edit its "type" or do I basically have to copy the info out of the old login and create a new server one?

    Hi there @AZBigdog

    You can only change an item from the Login category to the Password category (and the other way around) by removing or adding a value in the username field. Other item categories have specific fields anchored to them, such as card number for a Credit Card item, and as a result, can't be changed.

    Is there a way to edit its "type" or do I basically have to copy the info out of the old login and create a new server one?

    In this case, you'll need to copy and paste the information into a new Server item.

    That is kinda what I had thought but figured I'd ask first. Thankfully there is not a lot of them.
