Add a file to "notes"?
I recently discovered that to better "protect" my hotmail account there is available a 25 character "Recovery Code". I took a picture of it when it popped up on my laptop's screen and was I hoping, instead of having to manually enter the 25 characters in the "notes" entry of this hotmail login in 1P I could more simply attach the jpeg file in "notes". But It doesnt seem that this is an option?

You can add files to your 1Password items by following the steps shown here:

Follow the steps to "attach a file" to an item, and that'll show you what to do.
