Allow non family organizers to start recovery process for others

I have less security/techy people in the family who are probably more prone to getting their devices or accounts compromised.

I think there should be an option where the family organizer can choose which other family members can start recovery processes for others. BUT, they are still not the family organizer with powers to DELETE everybody's accounts.

Giving family organizer powers can be too risky especially since they can delete every family members' accounts. But ideally you want at least 2 people who can start recovery processes in the family.

So basically the power to start recovery processes shouldn't only be tied to being a family organizer.

Thanks for the suggestion @strif4 It sounds like you're advocating for an admin type role within the family. I'll pass this along to the products team for consideration. i'm unable to make any promises on the possibility of such a feature.

Can a non-administrator generate a recovery code for the administrator? Our family administrator lost the recover code and no longer can access their account. What are the family options, besides creating new accounts (we have over 1,000 passcodes)?

A recovery code would be generated by the respective user prior to needing it. If there is not another Admin/Owner to assist with recovery the next option would be to move what data you have access to into a new account(s).
