Older version 8.10.46 keeps reinstalling itself
I have 1password for Windows. I recently upgraded to next versions after 8.10.46. I keep getting messages on laptop startup about "older version" of data. I found that version 8.10.46 was still installed. I uninstalled it, but it keeps coming back. How to stop version 8.10.46 from reinstalling itself?

Hello @richardcrist! 👋
I'm sorry that you're seeing an older version be installed on your Windows laptop. Is this a laptop that is controlled by your workplace by any chance? If it is then can you check to see if they have a policy set to install a specific version of 1Password?
If this is a personal laptop with no such policy then, to help me better understand the situation, I'd like to ask you to take a screenshot of what you're seeing when you see a message about an older version and attach it to your reply:

Hmmm. This is my work laptop. My personal laptop does not have this problem. We do have Adaptiva on my work laptop to manage applications. Let me check with my work IT to see if they have specified 8.10.46 knowingly or unknowingly in Adaptiva settings. Thank you!

Sounds good! Let me know if you or your IT team have any questions, or if that app turns out to not be responsible for reinstalling the older version of 1Password, and I can help further. 🙂
