Passkeys Broken in Firefox

in 1Password in the Browser

I have been moving to Firefox from Chrome and Passkeys are very inconsistent. Instead of being prompted with the 1Password popup I instead get the browser prompt This prevents any action from being taken until it is canceled which aborts the passkey request. For some sites such as Adobe the pass key lets me prompt with 1Password for others such as Home Depot it results in this:

1Password Version: 8.10.50
Extension Version: 8.10.48.25
OS Version: macOS 14.7
Browser: Firefox

    I'm sorry about the issue you're running into with 1Password in the browser. We have been able to reproduce the problem on the Home Depot website, where the browser's authentication prompt appears instead of the 1Password passkey pop-up. I've added you to the list of affected users for the ongoing issue with our development team.

    Could you please let me know if you're experiencing this issue on any other websites?

    I have been experiencing this on many other websites to the point I don't have a list. I'll try to update this post as I find others again.
