8.10.50 not available for Firefox

    @Dave_1P Same cycle again. App version 8.10.50 came out, Chrome extension 8.10.50.25 followed within a couple of days, several more days later (today) followed the Safari extension 8.10.50.25, and still waiting on the Firefox extension.

    It's normal to see updates become available at different times across different browser extension stores. This isn't something that 1Password can control since it depends on the review process of each specific store.

    I can confirm that 8.10.50 was submitted to the Firefox Add-ons store and our team is working with our friends at Firefox to get the update released. 🙂

    @Dave_1P I'm just surprised to see Mozilla lag so far behind Google and Apple; the Firefox 8.10.50.25 extension is still not there. Could perhaps 1P attempt to establish a higher priority review channel with Mozilla, given the popularity of 1P and its reputation?

    Is there no issue with extension version not matching the main app?

    There's no issue with the version of the desktop app and the browser extension not being exactly the same. You don't have to worry about running the exact same numbered version in both the desktop app and the browser extension, just make sure that you're running the latest version available for your particular browser.

    I'm not aware of any such process but I'll share your feedback with the team. 🙂

    @Dave_1P Are you sure the Firefox extension 8.10.50.25 got pushed to Mozilla? It's still not there and Chrome and Safari have had it for over a week.

    @Dave_1P Great, and now 8.10.52 of the main app is out so the Firefox extension can never catch up. :P

    We're actively communicating back and forth with our partners over at Mozilla to get the latest update to 1Password for Firefox released as soon as possible. When a new update for Firefox is available, I'll make sure to update this thread.

    For the time being, 8.10.48 remains the latest update available and you can continue using it safely. 🙂

    @Dave_1P And now Safari extension 8.10.52.25 (why do the extensions have the fourth number btw?) is out too and still nada for Firefox.
