After update to the last version, the Start Here button keeps reappearing in the left sidebar even though I

  • confirmed it multiple times
  • all checks are already completed

    Saved draft didn't allow me to specify version, it is 1Password for Windows 8.10.54 (81054013)

    Same here. Why do I need to see this constantly.

    @andx1pw In your case, I guess it's probably because you haven't finished all the steps.

    I agree. But how often am I supposed to go through the tutorial, after 4 years with 1Password?

    Thank you both for the reports. Our team is working on making the guided setup experience more tailored so that you don't see steps that don't apply to you. I've shared your reports with the team. Keep 1Password updated so that you receive these improvements as soon as they're available:

    @finwe

    Are you still unable to dismiss the "Start here" prompt with 1Password for Windows? What happens when you click on that prompt?

    Hi @Dave_1P,

    Mine is weirder...it doesn't even think that the browser extension has already been added!

    1Password browser extension version 8.10.52.25
    1Password for Windows 8.10.54 (81054022)
    Chrome on Windows 11 24H2

    I can dismiss with click on "all done" and then again something on the next page. So, yes working, but two clicks. Not ideal

    I'm sorry that you're seeing a message to install 1Password in the browser when it's already installed. What happens when you click Next on the screen in your screenshot?

    @andx1pw

    I'm sorry for the inconvenience. Our development team is working to improve how the "Start here" onboarding flow works and to limit it so that it only appears for newer accounts.

    Hi @Dave_1P,

    As I'm not annoyed by the message, I don't want to take the chance and click "Next" to do the install, just in case it would then cause something to break. :)
