1password Chrome extension lying about saving generated passwords
The 1Password extension in Chrome offers to generate a password:
I accept this suggestion, and am prompted to update my existing login:
The extension says that the login is saved:
But when I check the "updated" entry, nothing has actually been updated and it still has the old password.
This sort of bug is absolutely unacceptable. I'm lucky the password shows up in the extension's password generator history, or I'd have been locked out of my account.

Hello @wonnage! 👋
I'm sorry that you're not seeing your new password saved to an existing items, that definitely isn't right. So that I can better understand the situation, can you tell me the following:
- Are you able to reproduce the issue again? Or did the issue only happen once?
- Does it happen on a specific website or does it happen on all websites on your Mac?
- When you update a password where don't you see it? When revealing it in the 1Password pop-up in the browser? In the desktop app? On 1Password.com? Or in all of these places?
I look forward to hearing from you.

I haven't tested on other pages but it's 100% reliably broken on the Onelogin password change page. The new password is not saved anywhere. It just creates an empty entry like this:
