Password recommendations not matching

When I click the username field on webpage, it’s showing correct login information (“parth”) in dropdown but if you see 1Password pop up on the bottom, it’s suggesting me completely different username (“ProWiz”) that’s not even related to this web page. I have fill set to “exact domain only” in 1Password.

Extension Version: 8.10.54.22
OS Version: iOS 18.1.1
Browser: Safari

    I'm sorry that you're seeing the wrong username from Password AutoFill (the prompt with the blue button) on your iPhone. So that I can better understand the situation can you tell me:

    1. Can you share the website address where you're running into this issue?
    2. Do you recognize "ProWiz"? Is that saved somewhere in your login item for the website in question in 1Password? Or in another login item?
    3. Are you running into the issue on any other website?

    1. This is happening in all of my self hosted services on my synology nas. This particular service is accessed via port 5001. URL: http://192.168.1.111:5001/
    2. ProWiz is saved in 1Password and associated username for service hosted on port 9999. URL: http://192.168.1.111:9999/
    3. Again, this is issue on all docker services on nas.

    Thank you for answering those questions. Do you still see the Login item for "ProWiz" suggested after you tap on the key icon to open the 1Password window from inside of the app that you're trying to sign into:

    Due to limitations of iOS AutoFill, autofill behaviour like "Only fill on this exact domain" won't apply to the system prompt with the blue button since we don't have a way to define host/port mode autofill restrictions to iOS.

    Yes I see ProWiz along with so many other credentials that are not even related to this service on this port.

    So what you are saying, iOS can’t pass port information and therefore 1P is not able to show EXACT login? Is there any workaround you suggest?

    Thanks for the reply and I'm sorry for the incomplete instructions. The prompt in your screenshot is still one that is rendered by iOS and not 1Password. Tap on the 1Password option in the prompt that is in your screenshot to open 1Password itself, do you see the correct suggestions there?

    Yes 1P shows correct one. It’s just extra few taps to get to it. Unfortunate, Apple prompt doesn’t show exact one.

    Thanks for confirming. That is a limitation of iOS Password AutoFill and we're unable to define host/port mode autofill restrictions like we can in the 1Password app and with our browser extension.

    Hopefully more options are made available in future versions of iOS.
