Using 1P is endlessly frustrating
I consider myself fairly IT competent, with 20+ years as a web developer. So I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who feels like using 1P is a constant struggle. I get that this is a rapidly changing landscape with multiple devices, browsers and standards. But every day it's a complete crapshoot on whether I will have to spend 30 minutes troubleshooting some bug or quirk with 1P. I'm only going to list one example (see screenshot below), as I could write a 100 page paper on all the little paper cuts over the years. Just needing to vent after spending an hour trying to get a passkey to sign me in to a Google account. I gave up and went back to the SMS verification code.

Hello @thomasrichman! 👋
I'm sorry that you're running into issues with 1Password in the browser, that definitely isn't expected behaviour and the team and I are here to help get everything working again. As a first step, can you check the following:
- Open Chrome.
- Type the following into the address bar and press Enter:
chrome://extensions/
- Click Details under "1Password - Password Manager".
- Make sure that under "Site access", the "On all sites" option is selected.
Then click on the 1Password icon in your toolbar and unlock 1Password. Then, open a new tab and navigate to the following page: If 1Password isn't working in your browser
Do you now see that 1Password is installed in your browser? If you don't then try completely removing 1Password from Chrome and then adding it back.

Can you tell me a little more about what went wrong? Did you run into an error message? Do you already have a passkey for your Google account saved in 1Password or are you trying to save a new passkey in 1Password?
