Auto fill choices problem ?

My Wife and I share 1PW. The passwords and logins are unique for all the sites listed therein; even those sites that we share in common. Further back then recently ( as this has been annoying for a while; several updates for sure ) :

When selecting a site to login to, that we both have access to, we typically get a box to select the proper log in data, mine or hers. Recently, the only choice given is my login, regardless of which of us, or both of us, currently has 1PW open in the background.

1Password Version: 8.10.54
Extension Version: 8.10.54.22
OS Version: Sequoia15.1.1

  • Hello @lasllcap! 👋

I'm sorry that you're not seeing certain login suggestions in the browser. So that I can better understand the situation, can you tell me the following:

    1. If you use the 1Password desktop app to search for your wife's login credentials for a particular website where you're not seeing the suggestion, do you see those login credentials in 1Password?
    2. Do you and your wife keep your login credentials inside of separate vaults? Or the same vault?

If you keep the login credentials in separate vaults then check to make sure that the vault that stores her credentials is enabled:

    1. Open your browser.
    2. Right-click on the 1Password icon in your browser's toolbar and click Settings.
    3. Click Accounts & vaults.
    4. Make sure that the appropriate vaults are turned on.

I look forward to hearing from you.

    -Dave

    hey Dave - Thanks
wife and I are all together in same vault; there is only one vault : Family.

what has been happening is this example : site login; Health Care- Wife and Health Care - Me
Wife login PW 12345 My login PW ABCDE when selecting the site address from 1PW,
Health Care login appears and generally we are given the choice "which of you are logging in?" and both of us are listed in the box. And we choose our login data. Of late only My login is given as a choice regardless of who is accessing the site.

Thank you for that information. Do you see both sets of logins when you log in to your 1Password account on 1Password.com (in the browser, not the app)?

Do you and your wife have separate family member accounts in the same 1Password Families membership? Or do you share one account?
