Printing? (+12 chars)
Apart from the incomplete CSV format (or writing a script to parse out the JSON from the 1pux
file), is there any support for printing items?
I went to update the printout I keep in my safe deposit box and there is no longer a "Print" option anywhere.

Hello @timkientzle! 👋
Thank you for reaching out! 1Password 8 doesn't include a print feature and it's generally not recommended to have a printed copy of your items since that will remove them from the secure and encrypted environment of 1Password. Any exported or printed copy of your passwords will be in plain text and so will be readable by anyone who views it. You also won't get an alert if someone accesses the printed copy like you would if someone were to access your 1Password account.
Are you trying to ensure that you won't lose access to your passwords in case you lose your account password or Secret Key? If that's the case then I recommend generating and printing out a copy of your recovery code instead:
You can store the recovery code in your safe and use the recovery code if you lose access to your account password or Secret Key. If you wanted to store a printed copy of your items for some other reason then please let me know. 🙂

... remove them from the secure and encrypted environment of 1Password.
Yes, that's exactly why I want to print them. Accidents happen, which is why backups should always be entirely independent of the primary storage.
I suppose I could put a thumb drive with the exported 1pux file in my safe deposit box until I find a better solution.
Bottom line: This is my data, not yours.

Your 1Password membership includes an automatic backup of your encrypted items to 1Password.com. If you accidentally delete or edit an item you can always restore it from your 1Password account on 1Password.com:
Your encrypted data is replicated to redundant copies on our end to guard against any data loss.
Bottom line: This is my data, not yours.
As you mentioned, you can always export your data from 1Password by using 1PUX. While there isn't currently a print option, I've filed a feature request on your behalf to have the team consider adding such a feature in the future. 🙂

Yeah, Dave, this has come up a few times and your team has been "filing feature requests" for years. Of course it remains at the bottom of the list, for some reasons. Yes, we get it, your software does things that paper does not, but as timkientzle says, "This is my data." Please, restore the feature.
