I use Touch ID to successfully open the 1Password app but is it possible to open the 1Password extension on Safari using touchID on my MacBook Pro Sequoia 15.1.1?

  • Hello @astandre! 👋

Thank you for reaching out. As long as app integration is turned on and working, 1Password for Safari will be able to use the desktop app to unlock using Touch ID. If you're not prompted to unlock 1Password for Safari using Touch ID then try these steps:

    1. Open and unlock the 1Password for Mac desktop app.
    2. Click on 1Password next to the  in the menu bar.
    3. Click Settings.
    4. Click Browser.
    5. Make sure that "Connect with 1Password in the browser" is on.

    Then in the browser:

    1. Open your browser.
    2. Right-click on the 1Password icon in your browser's toolbar and click Settings.
    3. Make sure that "Integrate this extension with the 1Password desktop app" is on.

If that still doesn't work then do you see a green dot in the browser settings page? Or a different coloured dot and an error message?
