Using 1Password (Personal) and 1Password Business together

One of my employees has purchased a Personal (Individual) account and is using it.
If I invite that user's account to Business, it won't be upgraded and will be recognized as a separate account, so does that mean I can't upgrade my existing personal account?

Also, with the Business plan, you can link it to a Family account and use it at no additional cost, but if I specify a Personal (Individual) account, will this Family account be upgraded to a Family account?

If a connected Family account is disconnected due to leaving the company, for example, I think it will go into trial status, but will I be able to revert to a Personal (Individual) contract?

Generally speaking, you'll likely want to create a business account distinct from your own personal account. Once the business is up and running you can link your account to the business. The employee would be invited to the business and if desired they can also link their personal account to their business account.

You can opt to upgrade the personal account to a family account and then link it if you prefer. I typically suggest this option as it will allow you to share the account with any family members for free.

You can change your account type at any time including if you left employment with the company.
