Incorrect Passport Dates in 1Password Linux Application/Extension

I have been using 1Password on Linux for the past 2 years to store my passport information. Today, while using the information to complete flight details, I noticed that the expiration and issue dates were incorrect. The dates I added 2 years ago are showing correctly when I edit the entry or check via the browser(not the extension), but when using the application/extension on Linux, the month has increased by one in both passport entries stored in 1Password.

1Password Version: 8.10.54-1.x86_64
Extension Version: 8.10.55.2
OS Version: Fedora 41
Browser: google-chrome-stable-131.0.6778.139-1.x86_64

  • Hello @traxtopel! 👋

I'm sorry that you're both seeing dates render incorrectly in the 1Password for Linux desktop app and browser extension. Our developers are testing a fix for the issue in the latest beta version of 1Password, if you're willing to give that a try to confirm that it resolves the issue for you then you can find steps here:

Then follow the steps to update 1Password and restart the app. If you see the same issue then let me know. If you're not interested in trying the beta (which is completely okay!) then we hope to release the fix to the stable version of 1Password as soon as testing is completed.
