Browser extension painfully slow and buggy

I don't know if it's due to a recent update but it seems like each new version of 1PW that comes out gets slower and slower.

Previously whenever I got to a login page, I would click on the 1PW icon in the 'login' field and within 1 second the saved login would appear. I would select it and it would instantly fill the login fields.

Lately (maybe starting 1-2 months ago) I click on the icon. Nothing happens. Click on it again. Nothing happens. Then I start to move my cursor to the top of the screen and suddenly the list will pop up and disappear. So I have to expect a 7-10 second delay before the login actually pops up in the list. Except when it doesn't. Sometimes no amount of waiting or refreshing the page will make the 1PW browser plug-in snap back to life.

I also noticed that when you click on the icon in the extension bar (top of browser) and find the credentials you want to use, sometimes the 'autofill' button is there. But other times you have to click on the saved credential and then select it from a pop-up menu. It's an extra step and not consistent. And sometimes clicking Autofill doesn't do anything anyway.

Overall I feel like the browser extensions are getting really really slow and often unresponsive.

Oh and here's another thing - literally as I am typing this question into the 1pw community web page, there is a popup at the top right corner of this very browser window that says '1Password encountered a problem'. I've seen this about a dozen times.
