Disable auto-submit on a per-login basis

There is currently a way to disable the auto-submit feature globally, but not on a per-login basis. I request a feature be added to allow it to be disabled on a per-login basis, so that it can otherwise be enabled but turned off for specific sites it may interfere with (such as those with CAPTCHA prompts or dynamic for fields that may not all be visible during the initial fill).

Disregard. I found that there is an ability to do this already, by clicking the 3 dots and then "Don't sign in automatically".

I think it would be much easier to disable autologin by simply holding SHIFT key while selecting the 1password item (or CTRL). While holding the SHIFT key it could also add some little text, like "Not signing in automatically". That would be nice feature :)

Also the setting "Don't sign in automatically" in three-dots-menu is available only in browser plugin version of 1password. I do not see this in desktop app.

  • @pujezdsky,

Thank you for reaching out. I appreciate the feedback you shared. While I can't make any promises, I've passed your insights to our product team.

The Don't sign in automatically option is only for 1Password in the browser. If you're utilizing Universal Autofill from the 1Password desktop app on a Mac, you'll find this setting under General > Submit automatically with Universal Autofill. The equivalent option for Windows users using Auto-type is labelled Submit automatically with auto-type in the General settings.

    I hope that helps.
