Safari extension doesn't set macOS pasteboard type like desktop app

Hey,

I found out that if I'm copying a password from the safari extension it shows up in my clipboard manager (maccy). Doing the same with the desktop app, the password doesn't show up in my clipboard manager.
My clipboard manager works on base of pasteboard types to hide sensitive entries. It seems like the safari extension doesn't set the type correctly or different, isn't it?

1Password Version: 8.10.56
Extension Version: 8.10.56.28
OS Version: macOS 15.2
Browser: Safari

    Hi @Aitareko,

    You're right. Currently, the 1Password extension doesn't support system copy/secure copy, which is supported by the 1Password desktop app.
    Our developers are looking into options to achieve that in the extension. Meanwhile, I filed a feature request on your behalf to support secure copy for the extension.
