1Password Safari behaving weirdly

Hi all,

I'm a longtime user of 1P and am getting some weird behavior in the last day or so. In Safari I'm unable to autofill from the 1P Safari extension. It is open, it shows the correct login information, but it won't populate the forms. I can "command backslash" to get it to fill but the typical behavior of the app plus the extension is not working like normal.
It operates like normal in Chrome so I am wondering if there was an Apple/Safari update that broke something?

I have restarted, quit all of 1P (browser extensions, menu bar, app itself), reinstalled Safari extension etc and no joy.

Thanks for any help!

I have the same problem (I think) - 1Password will display a dropdown of login choices in Safari - but clicking on those choices does nothing.

Instead, I have to command-slash, then choose a login from the list displayed - at which point it'll auto-fill.

  • Thank you for writing in @coopr. I'm sorry for the trouble.

Please send a diagnostics report to support+forum@1Password.com so we can investigate the problem. I've shared the details in my last post. 🙂
