Change tap default action on fields
I see where the context menu on fields used to allow choosing the default tap action per field, but it was lost at some point.
I would like to be able to set the default tap action to Reveal instead of copy, instead of using the Always show password preference. Any chance we can get some version of this feature back? (A global Setting for tapping on hidden fields would be fine for me.)

Hello @NetMage! 👋
Thank you for the request! You can reveal a password in one of two ways:
- By tapping on the more actions icon (it looks like three dots in a circle) next to the password and then tapping Reveal.
- By long-pressing on the password field and then tapping on Reveal.
That being said, I can certainly file a feature request on your behalf. Would either the options above work for you? If they don't then can you tell me a little more about your need to have tapping a password field reveal the password rather than copy the password?

I primarily use the iOS app for Windows passwords and can't install 1Password on my corporate computer.
Long press and two clicks aren't as quick as one click, and copy is worthless to me. I have the global reveal setting enabled but would prefer the slight increase in security from the password being hidden normally. I believe the old app had this and it was as much better.

I checked and 1Password 7, the previous version, would show options to Copy, Reveal, or Show in Large Type when the password field was tapped:
This would be the same number of taps as tapping on the more actions button next to the password field and then tapping Reveal in 1Password 8.
That being said, I've filed a feature request to have the team look into adding more options here in the future. Thank you for the feedback! 🙂
