I missed the Sept 1 Dropbox Deadline!

I've been traveling and am catching up. Just got around to the notice for those using IOS 1Password 3 with Dropbox. Since I missed the September 1st API cutoff, what should I do? I didn't see this in the FAQs or the blog. Sorry if I just missed it.

If the iOS device(s) you want to run 1Password on are running iOS 6, the best solution is to move to 1Password 4 for iOS, which uses Dropbox’s latest and greatest sync technology.

    I also missed the deadline here, and am feeling pretty crappy about the idea of dropping $18 just to make an app I already paid for keep working.

    Is there some coupon or promo code you can give me that will extend the sale? Please advise. I'm generally happy with 1P, but this "non-upgrade upgrade" is leaving a pretty bad taste in my mouth.

    Apple doesn't allow discounts on the App Store, so the only way to do that is to have a sale like we did. But if you email us with details of your situation, we'll see how we can best accommodate you. :)

    There is nothing you can do other than buy the app again.
    Forget emailing customer support too, they will tell you that you need to buy it to regain Dropbox sync.
    But they claim you are not buying it again, as it's an entirely new app, despite the fact that we only want it to do what the old one did.
    I have never read such rubbish.

    In a way you are correct. The only way to continue using Dropbox syncing with 1Password on iOS is to use 1Password 4 for iOS instead of the old 1Password 3 for iOS that was discontinued in 2012.
