Logged out of the forum when clicking on Notifications
Sorry, please delete if this is regarded as too much off topic but there seems to have been an update to the forum software which has the side effect of logging you out every time you click on "Notifications" (at least if there aren't any: I haven't tried when there are).

Haven't been able to make that happen here, @Stephen_C. Which browser/version are you using and would you mind checking with a different one? Thanks!

@sjk, apologies for posting on the wrong forum initially. I'm using Firefox 24 but have replicated the issue using Safari 6.0.5. Each gives me a "Whoops, user not found" message as soon as I click on "Notifications" and logs me out. That has happened only after an apparent upgrade to the forum software today (which, for example, now has a "Drafts" option alongside "Notifications").
I initially put it down to over-enthusiastic cookie control (for example, restricting cookies to "per session") but, having experimented, that doesn't seem to be the problem.

This is happening for me too now.

I have 2 notifications and when I click on this link: http://discussions.agilebits.com/profile I get a Whoops!, user not found as well. The Drafts button works for me.

I discovered that this is also happening when I click my username on the top bar as well "skippingrock" which as well has the link http://discussions.agilebits.com/profile

Edit: I've now confirmed it also happens for me when clicking on my username, as you describe.

This is very strange. I even logged out of my admin account to test in a regular, non-admin "Member" account. I can't reproduce this. Could you try using a different browser? I usually test things like this in a Chrome Incognito window so I am starting with a blank slate.

Somebody, somewhere has changed something (and it wasn't me!). ;) It works for me now.

It works for me (as in it doesn't kick me out of the system saying user not found), but when clicking on Notifications at the top, it doesn't take me to http://discussions.agilebits.com/profile/notifications as one would expect, it only takes me to http://discussions.agilebits.com/profile/

Yeah, we'll see about fixing that as soon as we can breathe. We've been a little busy lately. :)
