I hate to post this, but the UI change to the Safari Extension decreases the usability significantly.
- new popout menu: considering I have 100+ logins the new popout menu that now spans the entire length of my monitor is more difficult to use that the self-contained one in past versions
- the new popout menu is harder to jump to the particular login you want
- selecting a particular login from the popout menu no longer displays the notes field
-- this is major. I keep things like security question answers and PINS and other bits of info I may need at login time. In the old versions when I selected the login entry I could see all the additional information. With the new popout menu the notes field doesn't show up.
-- lack of easy copy option for password
---- many websites don't like 1passwords auto entry mechanism and I have to copy and paste the password into the field. The new 4.0 UI makes copying items from the password entry much more difficult to do.
Overall the UI change degrades the usability by about 50%. Whereas version 3.x worked more or less effortlessly, the new 4.x browser plugin is quite cumbersome and difficult to use.
I know it won't happen but I do wish you'd revert back to the old UI. It might not have had as graphic icons or whatever but it was much, much, much more straightforward to use.

Hi @violet13,
Thanks for the feedback.
- We've heard some feedback about this for folks who only wants to use the 1Password mini via the trackpad/mouse. We'll investigate to see if there is a better way to handle this. For now, if you know what you're looking for, typing in the search field will instantly narrow down the listing.
- How are you trying to jump to the Login, via moving your mouse or typing the first letter of the item?
- Note fields and Secure Note items are not yet implemented, it will be in a future update. For now, you can create custom fields in the Login items and that'll show up in 1Password mini.
Thanks again, we'll work on improving these.

I'm trying to scroll the list with my mouse. I'll try typing the first letter.
Also and this is MAJOR - it appears I can not longer copy from the pop out. I used to be able to get a little "copy" option if I hovered over username or password, but that's gone and I cannnot select it either from the popout. The only way is to enter into Edit mode - which I don't like doing because too easy to accidentally make changes.
I use copy a lot because several key sites I use puke over the 1password auto-entry.
I mentioned this above but I think it might have gotten lost in my long post.
Also I have my 75 year old mother set up with 1password so it's really, really confusing for her to have it suddenly change and not see all her info. I put a lot of notes in her entries to help her. While I'm pretty good with workarounds - these types of issues are incredibly difficult for her to grasp and change her workflow.

Select an field (username, password) to copy it. I agree it's confusing that "copy" no longer appears, but it still works. You can also click the anchor or drag the bottom bar to detach an item into a window so you can copy multiple items easily.

As nriley said, you just have to click on the field to copy it. The copy button is missing in the 1Password mini but it is there in the main app. We just need to add some visual cue in the 1Password mini in a future update.

I'm sorry to hear that. We're working on improving all of the aspects in 1Password 4. We'll get the secure notes+notes added as soon as possible to 1Password mini.
