Username/Password is not filled in Chrome
The Safari Extension works fine, but it's not possible to let 1P fill any credentials in Chrome. Nothing happens when I use the shortcut and even when I manually choose the key from the logins nothing happens.
I'm not running a VPN or any Anti-Virus solution.
My Chrome Version is 30.0.1599.69
1P Extension Version is 4.0.0.23
The Console App shows nothing when using the shortcut to fill in, but when I manually choose the key I get this:
Sat Oct 5 11:04:42 2013| 401005 [EXT:0x7f94f8c0c7f0:<OP4ExtensionClient: 0x7f95002d5950>] I sendFillItem:generatedPassword:openInTabMode: | Extension client 'chrome-extension://aomjjhallfgjeglblehebfpbcfeobpgk' ((null)) is not verified. Will not fill A92EC47ED71DF9BCA7747B74410A92BE until client is verified.
Using Safari the Console shows this and everything's fine:

I tried it again after restarting Chrome or even the machine and the problem still persists.
Chrome is installed in /Applications/Google Chrome.appEdit: Btw, the Firefox Extension is working fine, too. It's just Chrome which does seem to have troubles

This is bumming me out big time.
1P3 works and is still a wonderful piece of software. However, having spent $40 for software I effectively can't use puts a bad taste in my mouth.

Could you please verify that the Chrome code signature is valid:
codesign -dvvvv /Applications/Google\ Chrome.app
It should display something like this in the Terminal:
Executable=/Applications/Google Chrome.app/Contents/MacOS/Google Chrome Identifier=com.google.Chrome Format=bundle with Mach-O thin (i386) CodeDirectory v=20100 size=186 flags=0x0(none) hashes=3+3 location=embedded Hash type=sha1 size=20 CDHash=78fe4c6229348fa8a595b1de1b38ab9cbf3c2b78 Signature size=4216 Authority=Developer ID Application: Google Inc. Thank you!

Thank you! It looks good but for some reason 1Password cannot verify the Google Chrome process.
Please try to restart Google Chrome and see if there are any other messages in the Console. For example, "Failed to find extension process for ...".

Opening Safari the following is also logged, which is missing when starting Chrome:

FWIW, Kyle in support asked if I kept Google Chrome in a non-standard location. Indeed, I keep all user-installed apps in ~/Applications.
Once I moved Chrome to /Applications and reinstalled the extension, all is well on each machine I own.
Thanks, Kyle!

I'm having the exact same problem as @mcescher is experiencing. My Chrome Version is 30.0.1599.69, 1P Extension Version is 4.0.0.23, 1Password version Version 4.0 (400200).
Safari works great.

Agilebits, is there any news on this issue? It sucks that 1P is not usable any more for me after buying the update to Version 4.

Hi @designerbrent,
Can you please confirm that Chrome is installed in the /Applications folder?
and @mcescher,
I'm sorry to hear that the 1Password extension is still misbehaving for you. Could you please send us a Diagnostics Report so we can take a closer look at this?
Download the 1Password Troubleshooting utility and follow the instructions to generate the report.
Then attach the entire file to an email to us: support+forum@ agilebits .com
Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report in our inbox.
Once we see the report we should be able to better assist you. Thanks in advance!
