vault/sync screw up :(

I was trying to sync 1PW4 (MAS) with Dropbox - my thoughts were to have it sync with Dropbox AND alternately with iCloud. In so doing, I apparently created a vault (didn't have one before) - thinking that a vault (with its data) would sync to DB and another containing my original data file would sync to iCloud. So I disabled the iCloud sync and enabled DB sync but did NOT delete any data when I made that choice to disable and then change syncing. The process informed me that it "merged" both data files into one in DB :( .

I've since changed syncing back to iCloud, however, now have a "Primary" vault and another called "One Password"- they appear to have the same info in both - altho 1 has 96 items in Logins and the other has 97???? It appears that I have the similar data in both places however,the data file in DB contains 1.04 KB (that's probably the 2 merged data files) (that may cause space problems with DB at some time in the future?).

Have no idea how to get back to where I was, I'd like to delete a vault (how to know which one?) however am afraid to screw up everything even more than I have already. I am also syncing with my iPhone 4S - is there any help for me????

    This is a dangerous play by Agile Bits!

    It's a shame that this data loss bug that more and more people are experiencing has not been acknowledged in the Known Issues post.

    I'm so sorry to hear about your difficulty getting set up with 1Password 4! I think the best way to get you sorted out is to have you send in a Diagnostics Report to our support team:

    Download the 1Password Troubleshooting utility and follow the instructions to generate the report.

    Then attach the entire file to an email to us: support@ agilebits .com

    Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report in our inbox.

    Once we see the report we should be able to better assist you. Thanks in advance!
