What happens when the trial of v4 expires?

I own v3, and am evaluating v4. What will happen when the 30 days are up? Will I still be able to access the v4 vault in a read-only mode? I'd like to think I can afford to upgrade before then, but can't say for sure.

Hi @1pw80,

Yes, the app will go into the read-only mode and show up to 20 items just like in 1Password 3.

Note that as long as you keep using Dropbox or Folder sync with your 1Password 3 data file, you can always go back to 1Password 3 after 1Password 4 expires and you can take your time on upgrading later if you decide to do that.

I asked because I bought 1Password 3 too quickly to know what the end of trial mode entailed. :)

My economic situation was better back then, but the news that Mavericks is free might just have freed up my 1pw upgrade money :)
