In the attempt to import a shared vault, 1password 4 completely delete all my password.

That's what I did.

I was having a shared file on dropbox. After many attempts to double click and open it, 1Password was keep asking to input the password of my primary vault, without further opening the new import dialog.

I then created a new vault with the same name of the one I want to import, and set dropbox folder for the sync operation. It was only then that 1Password was able to open the vault on the double click, but unfortunately it was too late ... all my password were gone.

Shame on the missing QA tests you didn't.

    I have now been able to recover the file ... I always have two backups of my files. However, there is no chance for the local vault to show the passwords, whereas the 1Password anywhere shows the whole content.

    I'd love to see my passwords appearing.

    I'm sorry to hear about what happened here.

    Can you tell me what kind of file is this, is this a .1PIF file or an .agilekeychain file?

    Was 1Password app already opened and the primary vault unlocked before you double-click the file?

    Wait, do you mean that once you imported the data in the new vault, all of the data is now gone, including the data you had in the primary vault?

    In the main 1Password app, there's nothing showing up or do you mean you see your items but the passwords are not showing up? Can you present a screenshot for us?

    Could you email us your diagnostic report and include a link to this thread, so that we can connect the dots.
