Changing a button default in website before signing on.

I am having difficulty with a bank website.

When I go to the page, there is a button for personal or business (personal is the default) and then a User ID field and a Password field.

1Password inputs the correct info into the User ID and Password fields, but I keep getting an error message because I need the button field to change to business before signing on.

I know I could turn auto submit off, check the business button, and then sign on, but is there an automatic way of getting 1Password to change the button so I can submit automatically?

TIA

  • @sportyguy209 Can you share the URL of the login page please?

  • @sportyguy209 Which checkbox on that page do you need to select? I see options for "Online Banking" and "Online Cash Manager".

When I tried it previously, the default was Online Banking and I needed it to be Online Cash Manager. However, now that I've upgraded to Mavericks, the correct default comes up. Not sure why this has changed.

  • Hi @sportyguy209,

It could be the cookies. When I open it on Mavericks, there was no default set at all. So it is possible that when you logged in with the right option, the site saved a cookie to set a default for the next time you visit it.

I'd imagine if you try a different browser or reset your cookies, it may not pick the right option.
