Can I define specific applications for specific items?

Can I define specific applications for specific items when logging in from the 1Password application? For example the use of an FTP program for FTP logins, or even the use of a specific browser for specific logins?

I switched from PasswordWallet to 1Password a long time ago and really like 1Password. However, the possibility to define specific applications for specific items was a great feature in PasswordWallet.

Do I just not find it in 1Password, or does this feature not exist here?

    Hi @desertman,

    At the moment, no, that's not possible to auto-type into specific apps, we only support web browsers with the 1Password extension installed.

    You could modify the website field to use something like ftp://username:password@ftpserver to have it open up in FTP. I'm not sure your FTP app would read this but it could.

    As for the specific browser, 1Password only opens the default browser. If you need something like this, I'd recommend Choosey or something similar to it.
