Extra file appears when adding a login

When I add a new login or credit card a separate file appears of that login. What is this?

I probably should add I moved the first few to the trash. Was this wrong?

I would appreciate any advice. Thanks

    Are you using 1P4 to generate passwords for your new logins? If so, are you perhaps seeing those passwords appear in the Passwords category? If so, this thread may help. If not, could you explain the problem a little more fully?

    Thanks for that. It looks like it is the same problem in that link.

    I have been adding the logins manually so I think the second password login is the automated one that 1password generates as a template.

    @ozzyparkinson, it's not so much a "template" as a history of passwords that you've generated. As such you can delete them without problem if you don't need them. Anyway, I'm glad that clarified the issue a little.
