strange notification center name?

Using mas 4.0.3 on os x 10.8.5 and in system preferences/notifications the app name for 1password is "2bcud8xxxx.com.agileb....". So, every time I get a notification, usually for backups, it uses this strange name as the application title. I don't think this is what's supposed to happen, shouldn't it say the app title 1Password? Anyone know whats up here?

Its a know issue. Slated for fixing. Actually its been around a while and I would guess it would be a couple versions before we see it fixed. Simply because there are so many issues with syncing at the moment across some of the apps. The team is working overtime to squash those bugs.

Also since the notification doesn't hinder us in anyway other than totally irk my OCD, its on the lower level triage.

    Hi, @tinkerer33.

As @thightower mentioned, this is a known issue with OS X:

    • Notification Center shows 1Password mini notifications with the name "2BUA8C4S2C.com.agilebits...". It should show 1Password when the actual notification come in.

We're waiting to hear back from Apple on how to properly resolve this.
