Family License from app store??

If you buy from the Mac App Store it's my understanding that the licence allows you to use the app on every machine on which you use the same Apple ID. You do need the Mac App Store version if you want to use iCloud.

So how does the family license work? Does each user only get to register 1 device or do their devices just not sync the passwords?

BTW........I did get through to apple and they could not find a way to allow me to purchase the multiple user version.
From what I understand though, I may not be a candidate for the Family license anyway since I would like to use this on all my devices?0 -
You just have to use the same Apple ID to download the app on your family's Macs. That is all.

Hi @msk6261,
First of all, I'd like to apologize for the delay in responding but we have been a bit overwhelmed since the launch of 1Password 4 for Mac. We're working hard to get back to our usual snappy responses and we really appreciate your patience.
Eduardo is right: to get the equivalent of a family license through the Mac App Store, you simply need to log in to your family members' computers with your AppleID to install 1Password for them.
You can certainly still get a family license even if you want to sync all of your devices. Please note though that 1Password is platform-specific, so a license for iOS and/or Windows would be separate purchases. We do have bundle pricing available for Mac and Windows licenses though so you're not paying full price for the software twice :)
Please let me know if you have any further questions!
