Won't recognise Vault

I can't install 1Password 4 although I have successfully used 1Password 3 for 18 months. I'm running 2 Macs on OSX 10.8.5. Have deleted the old Safari extension (as per instructions), but when I try to open Password4, I get a choice between 2 buttons - I've used Password before OR I'm new. When I click I've used it before I get told I have to nominate where the vault is. It doesn't recognise either of the computers, and I didn't keep the information in iCloud. What is going on?

    I'm sorry to hear that you're having difficulties getting 1Password 4 set up. Could you please send us a Diagnostics Report so we can take a closer look at the problem?

    Download the 1Password Troubleshooting utility and follow the instructions to generate the report.

    Then attach the entire file to an email to us: support+forum@ agilebits .com

    Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report in our inbox.

    Once we see the report we should be able to better assist you. Thanks in advance!
