Multiple copies of 1Password and mini running

Hi,

I do adore the new 1Password 4 but I'm having an exasperating problem where I appear to keep launching two copies. I think it dates back to the beta and I have now discovered that I have "1Password" and "1Password 4" in my applications folder. I don't know which is the right one but, for now, I've picked one and made sure that it's the only one that launches at login.

However, I still keep getting two copies of the 1Password Mini application in my menubar. Plus, the keystroke to call up the Mini sometimes just stops working.

I did just quit both 1Password Minis, opened 1Password 4 and in preferences chose the option to keep running the Mini – and two copies of it started up in my menu bar.

Any ideas how I can get rid of one, keep it gotten rid of, and be sure that I'm using the correct one? I presume the beta will stop working at some point and I don't want to have trashed the real application when that happens.
