1pw 4 application won't open

I've been using 1pw 4 on iMac, iOS with no issues at all.

This morning, the app version on the iMac won't open - the icon bounces in the dock a few time, then nothing.

I can still access 1P via Safari extensions. I have rebooted with no effect.

Thanks for you help.

You might try reinstalling the app.

    Thanks Stephen

That worked. Not really sure why I didn't try that first!

I'm glad it worked. I, too, tend to forget to try things like that so don't worry about not thinking of it.

  • Hi guys,

@Golden, you shouldn't have to do that in the first place. If you do see this again (hoping not), could you please email us your diagnostic report. . If it is something we did, we'd like to fix it on our end, so it doesn't affect anybody else.

    Thanks!

I've sent you a diagnostic report as it's happened again this morning - have just upgraded to Mavericks - and getting the same bouncing app icon for a few bounces, then nothing.

    UPDATE

I was having problems opening Apple apps once I upgraded to Mavericks (looking at Apple forums I wasn't alone) so ended up clean installing and starting the machine from scratch. Have re-download 1P4 and everything is working well again.

  • Hey @Golden,

Awesome, I'm so glad to hear you were able to fix this! Thanks for letting us know what worked for you. If there's anything else we can help with, please let us know.

I am having this issue this morning. Last night I had problems with my Mavericks install and had to do a re-install this morning. Will do a full clean install next week. However after the re-install of the OS I can access the "mini app" and I can still access the safari extensions but the full application will no longer launch. I have saw this before and did a reinstall of the app, but I would rather not have to do that for obvious reasons. Any thoughts there Meek or Mike T? Thanks
