Bug selecting edit on item from 1password mini

There seems to be a bug when selecting edit on an item from 1password mini.
It brings up 1password, but then doesn't appear to do anything except open the app until I begin interacting with it. Then it eventually brings up the entry in edit mode and if I've typed anything (e.g. in the search bar because i've given up waiting for it to pull up the item) it starts typing over the title. I typically hit escape to cancel the change and exit edit mode, but it's annoying.

As a feature request, I'd really prefer 'show in 1password' as an option. Nine times out of ten I'm just looking for some detail or to reveal the password (another feature request, I'd really like to see reveal as an option in 1p mini).

ok, I apologize in advance because i know the reprimand is coming..
This forum used to be small and easy to keep up with. I need to revive some etiquette & reread stickies & search before posting. Just realized this is on the known issues list & likely discussed elsewhere.

  • Hi @Jasmas,

No worries, we're not going to punish you for this...a lot. :)

Nine times out of ten I'm just looking for some detail or to reveal the password (another feature request, I'd really like to see reveal as an option in 1p mini).

If you press the option key and it'll reveal the password. You can view the item's detail by hovering over the right side of the item:

You can't view all the item's detail. If I need the answer to a security question because I've cleared my browser's cookies, for example, this is one reason that I end up clicking 'edit' in 1Password mini when I really do not need to edit.
I definitely have interest in requesting some type of feature that let's me do this without editing the entry, but I'm unsure of the best way to handle it. Either with a view button in 1Password mini. Or even hold option key and click edit. Or a 'more' button that would show the rest of the fields in 1Password mini itself. Those seem to be the most straight forward ways of getting addressing what I'm trying to accomplish with some additional functionality.
