Disable Beta updates?
When I open 1Password it informs there is an update available, which is the Beta update. I don't have to install it, of course, but I'd rather not get any messages of Beta updates. I'd prefer to only get notifications for stable updates. I just can't figure out where to change this, In the older 1Password app you could check a box that included or excluded Beta's, but with version 4 this seems to be gone? Where do I disable Beta updates now?

In my latest beta it's at Preferences > Updates (Include beta builds). Maybe it's not there on the release version yet.

Yeah, I don't have a tab "updates" anywhere, so can't enable/disable either.
Am currently using version 4.0.2

They have changed the updating mechanism to a more secure one. To make the jump, we beta testers had to manually download this version:
Now there's a new setting:
I don't know if a manual update is needed for the stable version as well. Have you tried updating when the update message shows up? Perhaps it's best to download the beta version and then uncheck "Include beta builds"? You would still be using the beta version until a new stable version comes out, I assume. Someone from Agilebits can probaby fill in the details on this matter.

That did work and was now able to uncheck beta builds. Thanks!

I don't get it. Do we have to download the beta version to disable downloading beta version updates? That's crazy.

@Mr. K.
The stable version seems to lack any a way of changing update preferences. The beta version gets all the new features first, this includes the feature of changing how and when 1Password updates. If you want this feature now then you should get the beta version. Or you can wait for the stable version.

Thanks. I will wait.

Hi guys,
There was a bug in our auto-updater where 4.0.2 stable users were getting prompts to update to the beta update. It has been resolved as of now, so you should not get any more beta update prompts.
I apologize for the confusion there.
