Safari Extension Not Working in Mavericks
AgileBits,
Ever since I upgraded to Mavericks with Safari (7.0), my 1Password Extension (3.9.19) will not work. After entering my password, it displays a red #1 saying, Problem With Database. My 1Password (4.0.3) Mavericks OSX app works.
I've restarted my machine. I've quit and opened Safari. I've uninstalled and installed the extension from your website. I've quit and opened Safari again. No luck. Any ideas?
Adam

Are you reinstalling the v3.9.19 1Password extension? I think you need the v4 extension to match your OS X app.

If you are using 1Password 4 then please remove the old extension (3.9) and install the new one from this page: https://agilebits.com/browsers/index.html
We would love to do this automatically for you but there is no official way for apps to add or remove browser extensions.

Hi, @Revearti. It sounds like you're having this issue:
"Problem with database" in v3 extension in Safari on OS X Mavericks
But 1P3 and 1P4 extensions can't be used together in the same browser, as @MichaelDurio's reply implies.

I am having the same problem: old 3.9 extension removed; when I download the Safari Extension I am told that I have downloaded v 4.0.1 but the installed extension turns out to be v 3.9.9. I have tried this from within 1Password 4 menu, 1Password mini and directly from agilebits.com but, as expected, always the same result. I am using 1Password 4.0.3 with OSX 10.9 Mavericks and Safari 7.0.

Hi @jrrolf,
Can you do the instructions mentioned in this article. After you do that, reinstall 1Password 4 extension with this link and see if it'll work.
