Hello
I've noticed that the mini version, the extension on Safari, do not auto-lock as the main app does.
Any suggestion?

Thx and regards,

    @marcolongari

To give the team a little more info, which could help. What version of 1Password and from what store ? The Mac App Store or website. I would also include the OS X version you are running.

edit: Please do include the version number.

I seem to recall a similar thread in nature (locking) let me see if I can dig it up. If I do Ill add it back here.

    Hi, @marcolongari.

In addition to providing version information like @thightower mentioned, can you let us know if the problem is that 1P mini/extension stays unlocked when the main app is locked? If it's something different could you please describe it a bit more so we can best suggest how to fix it? Also, have you restarted your system since this problem started? Thank you!

    Same question
message sent to support@agilebits email. here's a copy

    OSX 10.8.5
    1Password Version 4.0.5 (405002)
    on a MacBook Air

Firefox 25. as my primary browser and Safari occasionally.

Browser preferences are set to delete histories and caches when closed.

1Password remains unlocked after I close the application using it.
1Password Mini seems to be unlocked regardless whether I'm using a browser.

Keyboard shortcut (in 1Password preferences) works.
Having 1Password lock automatically when closing the application that is using it should at least be a selectable option.

Is there some reason there isn't a checkbox to do this in the security preferences?

  • Hi @ectwalker,

There is in the Security Preferences:
