pw shown in the pw field of the login is not real pw
I have a strange issue. The login works nicely. Now I want to renew the pw. The pw in the pw field cannot be my real pw but it is my username (and the service provider does not except it as a pw because of this, neither does it fulfill other criteria... ). Where/what is my pw? I cannot change for new one w/out having the old one which is not accepted BUT the login works nicely...

Problem solved. I can find the pw through Edit & Show web form... still can not understand how this type of a login was created, though.

Hi @PekkaT,
I'm glad to hear you managed to solve the mystery! Sounds to me like something may have been off during the original save of the Login, or perhaps the site uses some non-standard naming in their form that got 1Password a bit confused. Whenever you see something like this, the easiest way to clear things up is to save a new Login for the site:
- Visit the site and fill in the fields you want filled. Do NOT click the login button.
- Click the 1Password extension, and unlock it if necessary
- Click the gear icon (or vault icon if multiple vaults are enabled) in the upper right corner.
- Select Save new login.
- Give the entry a unique and identifiable title.
- Click Save.
- Revisit the site and see if 1Password fills in the site correctly.
Do these steps create a more accurate Login with your username and password in the correct fields?
