What version of 1P4 are you running? Did you update the Safari browser extension when you installed 1P4? Have you rebooted after installation of 1P4?

Edit: in case you didn't install the updated browser extension read this thread before doing anything else!

I am Running 4.07 Beta -2. I have rebooted several times, and I did install the Safari browser extension. I Don't believe this extension existed in the previous version

Just make sure you don't have a version 3 extension installed in Safari (Safari > Preferences > Extensions). 1P3 did use extensions, if I recall correctly. They should be uninstalled if you're using 1P4. (I guess you only have the v4 extension installed, however, if you see only one 1P "key" icon in Safari.)

There is another thing you can try: restarting 1P Mini (1P4 > Help > Troubleshooting > Restart 1Password Mini).

    Hi @danmccarter,

I would like to apologize for the delay in responding but we have been a bit overwhelmed since the launch of 1Password 4 for Mac. We're working hard to get back to our usual snappy responses and we really appreciate your patience.

In 1Password 4, the extension doesn't store any data. Both the main app and 1Password mini read the database directly. This prevents some Login data being saved in the extension and not transferred to the main app. So what you are describing is a bit strange. I have a bit of an idea about what might be happening in your system, but in order to confirm this, I'll need a bit more information. Could you please send us a Diagnostics Report?

Download the 1Password Troubleshooting utility and follow the instructions to generate the report.

Then attach the entire file to an email to us: support+forum@ agilebits .com

Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report in our inbox.

Once we see the report we should be able to better assist you. Thanks in advance!
