Best way to start all over.

After dealing with so many issues after going from version 3 to version 4. What is the best way to just start over? I have been using dropbox for sync between 2 Mac's, 1 Windows and 3 iOS devices and not all of them using the same iCloud account.

Should I delete the directory in Dropbox, remove the app from all the systems and then choose one system to re-install? Then should I import entries or restore entries from backup. It seems Dropbox is my only option to keep multiple devices in sync that leverage different iCloud accounts correct?

There is a knowledge base article here on how to start over with 1P4. However, you may want to delay a while to allow others more expert than I to come along and offer help with your current configuration...before doing anything too drastic. :)

    Hi @MisterE,

I would like to apologize for the delay in responding but we have been a bit overwhelmed since the launch of 1Password 4 for Mac. We're working hard to get back to our usual snappy responses and we really appreciate your patience.

First of all, you're right, syncing with Dropbox is your best option, primarily because of your Windows machine. Currently there are no other available sync solutions for Windows. If you are syncing with Dropbox, you also don't need to worry about how many iCloud accounts you have. As long as Dropbox is installed and running on your machines, all is well.

Now, we can certainly help you start fresh, but if you give me a bit more detail about where things are going wrong, we might be able to sort you out without resorting to such extreme measures! :)
